The importation of gunpowder,shot and flints was still good trade in 1819 although the percussion cap would soon almost put pay to the flint industry and the "napper" would be a skill of the past.
Brandon in Suffolk being the centre for flint production in England. Refer to the attached link. The sound quality is poor but the video content excellent and proof that the business continues
although a shadow of its former self. The clip from 1949.
