 An exceptionally good quality pair of Irish Travelling Pistols by Thomas Fowler of Dublin.
     Stepped and bevelled lockplates. Roller frizzen springs. Throathole Cocks. C. 1820..
 Reverse side showing single screw.
These pistols registered under the 1843 Irish Registration Act in County Antrim (A-N 3944 & A-N 3945) c.1844.. The numbers being located in the top sighting channel along with "Dublin" in script.
