Stepped Lockplate engraved Geo Alley with a ramped frizzen spring. c. 1790
Fully Stocked. Two Slide Bolts ( No escutcheons). Slab Sided Grip.(Ala Wogdon)
and Set trigger.
"G.A" within rectangle between
double stamped crowned "P" Proof.
Reverse side: Two retaining screws.
Classic bowed silver trigger-guard, acorn finial and ramrod pipes
but alas no hallmarks.
Internal lock. Polished steel.
Elliptical Touch-hole. (bore light in barrel)
"Sickle" motif in front of the trigger-guard pillar?
