Trading dates and addresses

The gap in William Hollands trading dates(1825-1835) could be explained by Holland having
been in the employ of Wm & Jn Rigby? As we have found in earlier blogs certain gunmakers who were either trained or held in high esteem by the Rigby's were engaged by them when capacity dictated or when certain gunmaker's fell on hard times.
The alternative option being the fact that there were competing directories and William Holland maybe listed in one of those not covered by our research?
