Drum & Nipple converted pistol. Lock signed "Wilson" in script. c. 1810.
Conversion executed c. 1825 by a "smith". The hammer with the typical Irish wide collar. This later feature being influenced by Forsyth in England.
The name Wilson is a common within the circles of Dublin gunmakers as can be seen from the attached list.

The classic Irish overcoat pistol converted from flintlock to percussion.
"Dublin" in script to the top flat of the barrel.
