Mark & John Pattison, Gunmakers.

Mark & John. Pattison
Gun Manufacturers
18 Crampton Court
Dublin

M&J Pattison, Gun Manufacturers, 18 Crampton Court, off Dame Street, Dublin.

The above trade label confirms many aspects of this company's history
The fact that both Mark & John Pattison were the son's of the late Thomas Pattison (Gunmaker|) and have made a point to distance themselves from any other house! This in all probability Wm & Jn Rigby's.  In addition they were awarded a silver medal from
The Royal Dublin Society*.

There are, in later Dublin trades directories, listings for M.J Pattison.(See below).

What is certain is that gunmaker's from
the Pattison family were in the employ of Wm & Jn Rigby during this period.

There is a strong possibility that M&J Pattison were contracting from Wm & Jn Rigby between
1854-1859.
