 Wilson
Gunmaker's

Drum & Nipple converted pistol. Lock signed "Wilson" in script. c. 1810.
Conversion executed c. 1825 by a "smith". The hammer with the typical Irish wide                    collar. This later feature being influenced by Forsyth in England.

The name Wilson is a common within the circles of Dublin gunmakers as can be seen from the attached list.

"Dublin" in script to the top flat of the barrel.

We are always interested in pistols/guns by any of the Wilson family of Dublin gunmakers.
