It would appear from the above dates that William Holland moved from Dublin in c. 1824 and set- up business in Belfast until c.1835. (research ongoing).

William Holland's forte was air weapons and two other gun houses in Dublin were also adept 
in this market namely; Kavanaghs and Trulock & Son.

Interestingly in this advertisement Weekes & Son's state that they are Agents for Adams Revolvers. Calderwood & Son also being noted Agents for Adams. Their main competitor Colt gave the exclusive rights to sell their revolvers through Wm & Jn Rigby, 24 Suffolk Street,Dublin.
