William Alley first commenced business in Kilkenny circa 1788 at Rose Ann Street. He transferred this business to 6 Abbey Street, Dublin in late 1795 and is listed in Dublin until 1802. As can be seen by the two photographs he made high quality gold mounted duelling pistols.
