                                               Drum and nipple converted percussion 
                                           holster/duelling pistols by William Morton.

These pistols are drum and nipple conversions with a unique percussion cap holder to the sideplates. This was the invention of Major General Joseph Jerrard. It is not certain whether or not this invention was ever patented? Refer to note  below.
M.G. Joseph Jerrard was the father of the famous mathematician George Birch Jerrard.
