Connell & Co., Percussion Travelling Pistol c. 1840

                                Registered in East Cork under the 1843 Act ( EC 1536)

This pistol with backaction lock, a bun-nut retaining the hammer (hammer a replacement). Captive ramrod held under a round barrel with flat top rib that steps to an octagonal? breech. The question mark is added due to this pistol having not been seen by the author. An unusual barrel configuration.
