Gunmaker's Hall. 1848.

                Gun Makers Hall
              34 Wellington Quay
                        Dublin

Gun Makers' Hall must have been an establishment similar to those in Birmingham where numerous gun makers shared the cost of a space, machinery and of course knowledge.

Three gun makers associated with this address at this time were:-
                                                  John Flanaghan. c.1840
                                              Patrick Kane.    c.1840/1856
                                               John O'Gorman. c.1840/41
There were no doubt other "jobbing gunmakers" working within this premise/location.

The address does vary over this period from No28 to No 34.
