R.I.C. Depot mentioned?

Is this a classic case of exaggeration? Thomas Read are noted as having established their business in Dublin c.1670/1675. This being the case then the above advertisement would have been printed in c.1970 when the R.I.C., had been disbanded for a period on 48 years (1922). Therefore, we calculate that this advert was placed in c.1920 thereby making T.Read & Co.. 250 years young!
